Don't you think he would be great for a biopic on A-rod?

This new steroid scandal with Alex Rodriguez would make for an interesting biopic. Think about: Turturro looks just like him, acts just likes him, and sounds just like him. He is a little too muscular, but I am sure that he could lose some of it. Also, he would be great for A-Rod's younger years, but they might have to use make-up to portray the older Rodriguez. If they can do it to Brad Pitt, they can do it to John Turturro.

Ummm ... I see only two possible explanations for this post ... you either do not know who John Turturro is, or you don't know who A-Rod is ... maybe both.

A-Rod is 33. John Turturro turns 52 soon. How the &%$#@!& do you figure that a 52 yr old guy "would be great for A-Rod's younger years, but they might have to use make-up to portray the older Rodriguez."??

Also, John Turturro is skinny ... A-Rod is ummm ... not skinny.

They look, sound, act NOTHING alike ... you either are not remotely familiar with one or both of these gentlemen, or you are high ...

Excuse me sir, I respect a civilized difference of opinion, but there is no need to get upset. Perhaps you disagree with me, but I believe that no actor is better to play A-Rod than John Turturro. And Yes, I do know who they are: A-Rod is the current third baseman for the New York Yankees who is currently in the midst of a steroid scandal and John Turturro is a veteran actor known for roles in such films as Jungle Fever, The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, and others. In fact, if you noticed my profile name you would realize that I am quite the Yankees fan: Cano (the second baseman) 22 (his number before Clemens arrived) 340 (his average during the 2006 season). The point I am making is with the great makeup advancements in Hollywood, it is now possible for younger actors to portray older roles. Since they already have such obvious similarities, it is time we put John Turturro in the Delorean and have him go Back to the Future for a role as A-Rod.

Turturro would look like him if he put on 50 more pounds of muscle.

just not sure how this would work - John is 20 years older than A-Rod and significantly smaller. Heck, in the Bronx is Burning, Turturro was a dead ringer for Billy Martin who was what 5'9" and 165?

I just am not seeing why a 52 year old smallish actor would be your choice to play a 6'4" 230 lb 33 year-old.
