in my opinion his 3 best have been:
Barton Fink
Box of Moonlight
Quiz Show

but he's superb in several others as well, including Miller's Crossing, he's a brilliant actor, one of my favorites

First time I saw him was in Secret Window...and I really liked his performance. And then I saw him in Anger Management and Mr Deeds and I loved him both as a dramatic actor and as a comedian. He's great!

I'm pretty sure the first time I saw him in a film, or recognized him anyway, was in Do The Right Thing, followed by Miller's Crossing. The latter is such a great film, that it's hard to single out anyone; but Turturro's character is just so slimy that you cannot ignore or forget him.

For some reason I was disappointed by Barton Fink, and it's been so long since I saw it that I don't remember why. Quiz Show was excellent, Big Lebowski, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, and supporting roles in so many others.

Best: Barton Fink and Quiz Show.

Worst: Transformers

At the moment, I'm mesmerized by his two appearances on Monk playing a lonely agoraphobic recluse. When he says "I love you" to his brother, it's own of the saddest, most devastating acting moments I've ever seen. Breaks my heart.
