American version of Gary Oldman!

JT is unarguably one of the great character actors of our time. I don't care if the film is cheasy, John is always there to make it highly entertaining and
is always a method actor. He doesn't have the depth that say DeNiro had in Taxi, but his span of great characters exceeds Bob's and he's played characters I cannot see Bob handling. I heard that Bob was signed to do The Night Of, but John has the role. Watching him in this gripping series, I just can't imagine Bob doing it.
I've been a fan of his going back to To Live And Die In LA. The movie where he really sunk his hooks in me. And I anticipate every project he's aboard. No matter how cheasy the movie!
