Considering is is reported both carried a torch for Tyrone Power long after they broke up with him, it is ironic that both of them married men in the same family. The wealthy Topping men. I think it was a first marriage for both, neither lasted too !omg. The family dinners must have been interesting. I bet the in laws were thrilled to have celebrities in the family.

Is it naive of me to wonder why so many actresses married wealthy men? And, in the interest of balance, there were also actors married to wealthy women - does that make them Trophy Husbands?
Either way, you wouldn't think it was a very compatible pairing.

I read as a struggling actor, Clark Gable married two wealthy older women. I guess that would make him a trophy hubby.
