Rip Torn fans!!! - PAYDAY finally out on DVD!!!
If you're a Rip Torn fan AND you've never seen this film, you owe it to yourself to check this thing out. I still think it's the best thing he ever did (and that's not to slag the other things that he's done quite well, by the way). What a masterful performance!
Few people can pull off such a completely despicable character as he did with Maury Dann and yet make the performance so compelling that you're completely glued clear up to the end. Wow!
This 1973 film still stands the test of time as the "Best Film You've Never Even Seen (Let Alone Heard Of)"...
