I couldn't care less about her private life, personally, as it makes no bearing on how much I've enjoyed her performances over the years, in various mediums. And you know, I wasn't there and neither were you. I think it's so unhelpful to attribute blame in break-ups, especially with people we don't know, but I can't imagine Maggie being the easiest of people to live with, and the same with the late Robert Stephens (as he said himself in his book). I know she tried very hard to make her marriage to him work.

I also have little clue what went on behind the scenes in Judi Dench and Michael Williams' marriage, despite reading her autobiography and her authorised biography.
