Why does she never attend award shows?
Is it because she doesn't care about awards? Or she lives in UK and at oold age she doesn't need to spend time traveling from UK to USA to attend award ceremonies even though she will win or not?
shareNo. She definetely cares about awards considering that in her younger years she attended most award ceremonies and would always be incredibly happy and grateful anytime she would win. I think the reason why she rarely attends award ceremonies these days is because for starters she's always working. She stars in Downton abbey and she is making an average of one to two films a year and considering her age, she definetely needs to take time to herself every now and then. She's not 30 years old anymore. Also it's difficult for her at this age to come all the way to America every single time there's an award show in which she's a nominee.
