Haymitch in 'Hunger Games'?

I would really love to see Stellan play Haymitch in "Hunger Games" when it is brought to the big screen. He would play his sarcastic drunken character perfectly! Thoughts/opinions? Anyone else better suited for Haymitch?

Too old. Haymitch is in his late 40's last I remember.
