....He never appeared. His character, Bootstrap Bill, was mentioned but he never appears on screen.

Ok, I just remembered the First Movie was Curse of the Black Pearl. My mistake I can't keep all these extra titles of all these franchises straight sometimes. I thought they were saying he was in the first film.
