why is it there OJ Simpson is a criminal

A court found him innocent. His personal life has nothing to do with his football accomplishments.

He was found "not guilty". He wasn't found "innocent". Legally a big difference. But he was later found guilty for grand larceny.

But I do agree it has nothing to do with his HOF status.

It's innocent until proven guilty. They failed to prove him guilty so therefore he was proven innocent.

I know there is no trace of him in the USC trophy room (because I have been there) and he won the Heisman while he was there.
