When are they going to find the real killer?

The real killer has been out there for nearly 20 years and never been caught. Are the police continuing to try and find him? We never heard any news on progress, I've never seen a segment on America's Most Wanted? Why?

That's because the vast majority of us know who the real killer is: OJ Simpson! Unfortunately, the jury gave no weight to the evidence against him. They didn't have enough intellectual firepower to make the right verdict. Plus, they were biased in OJ's favor.

Couldn't they have re-tried OJ for a different crime? i.e. if the murder charge was botched, so why not charge him for assault at least?

They can't, because double jeopardy laws prevent him from being re-tried in the same case, even for different charges in relation to the murders, like assault or even, say, spitting on the crime scene. But it doesn't matter now, since he is currently doing time in prison for a completely unrelated case.

I'd say once the Juice actually dies and they put him in the ground and people point at the casket and say 'Thats the killer! We Got him!!'.

Is your post serious, or are you being sarcastic...I literally cannot tell.

Assuming your post is not a joke, my answer to your question is: The police are NOT "continuing to try and find him [the killer]" because they believed OJ to be the actual killer. The police conducted an investigation and turned over evidence to the District Attorney, who believed that all the evidence pointed to OJ as the perpetrator of the murders.

A finding of "not guilty" by a jury doesn't necessarily mean that the people on the jury believed someone else committed the crime. It means they didn't feel the state met its burden, which was to prove that Simpson did it "beyond a reasonable doubt."

Go out and read "If I Did It," written by Simpson himself. The book is a confession, although a weak one. SPOILER: He basically says that he went to Nicole's house, was full of rage, enough to killer her AND the man he thought she was sleeping with, but that he suffered some sort of dissociation, and doesn't actually remember doing the murders.

I followed the case closely when it was going on, and I believe he did it. I also believe he was likely under the influence of drugs, but it really makes no difference. He's a scary person; someone seemingly without a conscience. The crimes for which he is currently sitting in prison for pretty confirm that: in his mind, he was perfectly justified in breaking into someone's hotel room, threatening them with a gun, and committing theft (since he believed he had a right to the items stolen.)

Prison is exactly where Mr. Simpson belongs...he is a danger to others, imo.

My post wasn't directed so much at the police but at all the people who believed OJ was innocent. There were a huge number who believed this. Why aren't these people demanding that the real killer be hunted down and found?

The killer is OJ please OP don't be so naive.
