Murder aside, his acting could be quite compelling

Like in that made-for-tv movie about the greyhound bus hijacking (w/ Lorenzo Lamas as the lead bad guy). He was awesome in that, or in "The Towering Inferno".

I just watched him in episode one of "Medical Center" and his acting is impressive.
