John Smith

He played a character who was both ruthless and human, one of his best roles ever! I hope he gets more recognition thanks to The Man in The High Castle!

He reminds me of a younger Al Pachino in this role.

He's the coolest Obergruppenfuehrer ever.. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. 

He killed that role. No doubt about it.

Hope he gets an Emmy nom for this role. He was amazing in it.

If John Smith was played by any other actor I would hate him. Rufus Sewell is the only reason why the character is likeable and did a great job.

He stole the series.
He made the character despicable and relate able at the same time.

I thought he really made his character stand out, and that frankly his acting was well above the cast leads. It's easy to call Obergruppenführer Smith vile, but what Sewell put across was an intelligence and charisma within the man's ruthlessness.

I think him and Cari Tagawa are really selling "The Man in the High Castle". Both fantastic actors. Especially this guy Rufus though. It's like, he's playing a nazi, but you don't want to hate him, but you do! He really does the role extremely well. I agree he should get an emmy for this one.
