Nice Change to See Him in Victoria

I was so used to seeing Rufus play villains and bad ex-boyfriends over the years that seeing him playing Lord Melbourne on "Victoria" is such a nice change. Melbourne is a wonderful character. Very much like one of the Jane Austen romantic leads as he's so kind, charming, protective, and very loving to Queen Victoria. Plus, the way he shows Melbourne still grieving over losing his first wife and young son, and Victoria giving him a new purpose to go on and help her but then has to let her go even though he loves her shows range. I'm so glad he's coming back for the 2nd season, as he confirmed it himself meeting some fans at his play last week, as I feel we need more closure for how he, Jenna Coleman, and Daisy Goodwin have portrayed Melbourne and his relationship with Victoria.
