I admire this woman's self-confidence and self-esteem and courage
Love her or hate her, as a person...as a modern woman, you can find something to admire about Chloe Sevigny.
Chloe Sevigny has the last laugh on her naysayers, critics, and those who said she was finished in Hollywood because of her controversial movie ten years ago. Her talent agency essentially pronounced a death sentence on her acting career and dropped her. Today, Ms. Sevigny's acting career is still active and successful.
This is because the woman had faith and confidence in herself, but not arrogance. Many of us would have slunk off with our tails between our legs when everyone told us that we were finished because of a decision of bad judgement. Sevigny kept her back straight and her eyes straight ahead and went on to prove them all wrong, not because that was her intention, but because Chloe knew that Chloe was far from finished. This is the essence of today's 21st century feminism, one that is based on having faith, confidence, and trust in yourself to make the right decisions and to be successful and happy in life, not dwell in anger at men as the feminists of the end of the 20th century who only succeeded in introducing the totalitarianism of political correctness into the work place, schools, colleges, and everywhere else.
Chloe is by no means a glamorous Hollywood silver screen goddess; she knows it, you and I know it, and that was never her intention other than to be a productive and imaginative actress. Sevigny is an inspiration for today's young men and women. Don't let others put you down or devalue you. Only you can do that to yourself. You know what value you have in yourself. Pursue it and use it!
