Is it true he's a jerk in real life?

I was never a huge Friends fan... But like most people I've seen many episodes. I was flipping through the TV channels and started watching a show that was a "behind the scenes" look at Friends. At one point I thought I remembered hearing David Schwimmer was a bit of a snob or jerk in real life and had a history of treating fan's rather rudely.

I don't know if I got that impression from a headline I saw on a tabloid while I was standing in line at a grocery store, and that's what I was remembering, or if there was any truth behind it. I don't give David Schwimmer much thought, but when I have it's usually been with the impression he was a jerk.

I decided to finally figure out if I was off the mark with what I thought I remembered hearing about him, and figured I see if there was any kind of post about him on it. Can someone set me straight with what sort of person he is away from the camera's? Beyond some fanboy that's mad at my question.
