I can't believe he's 6 foot. Looks about 5 feet 8.

I kinda think he appears his height on screen.

according to celebheights.com he's 5'11 which to me seems a bit more accurate. Still fairly tall though.

You can kind of tell by his hands. (I know it sounds strange but I'll explain)
Everybody knows that the taller the person, the larger the hands and feet are. And Geoffrey Rushes hands are huge! He expresses himself with his hands a lot if you ever see interviews with him.
