I just thought if fifty shades of gray would have been Writen when he(Geoffery Rush) was younger he could have played christian and kate Winslet could have been Annastasia for the film adapation.

shareI know it's really a shame that Christian is supoused to be in his early 30s.
And you know what even tough with E.L James description I still imagine Geoffrey as Christian and for your post seems like you too think of him reading the book.
Probably Quills made that efect on us.
It's so unfair the only hot scene between Geoffrey and Kate was just a long kiss and her siting on his lap.
I know it's like only young lads are supposed to be smokin(when most of them are ugly,rude and immature.

Quills It's a Great movie it's on my top 5 favorite movies of all time but like you said still pretty tame considering the subject and the director(nc-17 existed because of him) .
If they could just have expanded their first scene togather it would have been great, something like after too much insisting she finally gives in.
Their chemistry was really intense, it's not easy to find a movie with such an obvious chemistry.
