Why is calling Trump a racist nazi OK
The board for the new show disappeared too.
I don't agree with what she said, and I am not defending what she said.
But how come when some rat bastard denies the Holocaust, they are protected by the 1st Amendment,
and free speech. But she isn't?
Free speech is in regard to things like being arrested. The government cannot infringe on that right.
Free speech is NOT freedom from consequences. Private companies fire people for being offensive all the time.
Also, here is Roseanne dressed like Hitler, burning human-shaped cookies:
https://womenintheworld.com/2018/04/05/photos-of-roseanne-barr-burning-gingerbread-cookies-while-dressed-as-hitler-spark-outrage/
You hypocritical piece of human garbage. How do you keep track of the bullshit coming out of your mouth when you constantly speak from both sides of it. You just had a post shitting on Trump for condemning players for protesting while at work, yet here you are spouting "Free speech is NOT freedom from consequences". Lol, do you even recognize how rediculous you sound? Just say you hate Trump because he beat the person you voted for. Enough with your hypocritical, hate inducing lies. You and people like you are everything wrong with this country, but you're so bitter you can't even see it for yourself. Hate Trump all you want, but at least he sticks to what he says.
shareTrump was using his White House position to pressure the NFL and also threatened tax penalties against the league.
That's abuse of office and a clear usage of government power against free speech.
You're an idiot who needs to learn to read and comprehend.
Lies.He never threatened the NFL,only brought up the point of tax dollars being used to publicly pay for fields while players disrespect the flag. Hardly a threat. Also, are you REALLY suggesting that the NFL didn't recognize a loss of profits over this well before Mr. Trump said that? If you are, its more bullshit lies from you.
sharehttps://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-says-u-s-change-tax-law-punish-nfl
Even though he had almost no clue what he was talking about, Trump said this:
Trump tweeted: “Why is the NFL getting massive tax breaks while at the same time disrespecting our Anthem, Flag and Country? Change tax law!”
See that? "Change tax law!"
Trump was clearly willing to use his position as President to pressure the NFL into punishing the players for their protest.
That's right from the orange horse's mouth!
That is not a threat,by the definition of the word. How pathetic are you, grasping at straws like this, lol? Your trolling is so damn weak.
shareLet's see who I trust more:
1. Reading Trump's actual tweet -- YES!
2. A Harvard law professor who opined on the issue -- YES!
3. Burk48917, some rando mouth-breather from MovieChat -- NO!
LOL, are you really so full of yourself?
Why are you on a discussion board? This is the wrong place for you.
shareSTFU, I'm not going to respect a user like the one above who shows up and calls me human garbage just because I made a valid point about Donald Trump.
You need to get in your place. Seriously.
No, you lied about what he said, that's why I called you human garbage. And, Trump has a Harvard law degree too, you moron, lol. To quote DP2, maybe you need to take that potty dick out of your mouth.
share“Mr Trump.” When referring to the President of the United States you do not say “Mr” you say “President.” So the proper way to address Donald Trump is President Rump.
share[deleted]
Also, the NFL can do what it wants... But the President trying to use the tax code to stop a peaceful protest, that goes against the Constitution.
shareNo the NFL can't do what it wants! There are thousands of pages of regulations detailing every thing including how an employer is allowed to handle criminal background.
Free speech you are clearly against, but it has nothing to do with the tax code either. Even schools do not get money unless they teach required programs like AIDS or Nazi Holocaust. Government exist based on bullying.
Schools getting government money is a completely different issue.
There are private schools, too.
The NFL can do what it wants when it comes to the protests and fining, is what I mean. I was speaking in context.
She’s not being arrested or detained.
She said something stupid and there are consequences. This is not a First Amendment issue as the government is not penalizing her. Or commenting...yet. I’m sure Trump will somehow defend her to inject himself into the story and unerringly pick the wrong side.
Well it's 2018, you'd have to be insane to compare a black person to an ape and expect there not to be any consequences.
As for calling Trump a racist Nazi, like Frogarama, I'm not sure who exactly you're referring to but maybe if Trump didn't make a habit of retweeting white supremacists (including one with grossly inaccurate racist propaganda, see link) he'd have fewer people insinuating he's a racist.
https://www.factcheck.org/2015/11/trump-retweets-bogus-crime-graphic/
I doubt the graphic was representative of his platform and was a mild gaff. On the other hand a member of the mulatto mafia attempted to destroy the USA from within. She deserves no pass on it.
shareSorry but I don't call it a mild gaff when someone with as many followers as DJT tweets grossly inaccurate racist propaganda regarding black on white murder that many of his followers undoubtedly took as gospel. Add to that that he refused to apologize or accept any responsibility for it and he doesn't deserve a pass. And that's just it, Trump says or does something offensive, refuses to admit he did anything wrong and then his followers explain to the rest of us what a great guy he is and why he clearly didn't mean anything by it. It just doesn't fly with me and many others.
shareThe left just loves to label folks. If they're not racist, they're misogynist, or homophobic, or xenophobic, or... Most of these words have become nulls because the definitions of them have been so bastardized rending them useless.
As a black man, I know Trump is a bull in a china shop. He tweets and retweets things he shouldn't. The tweet in question was a retweet that he shouldn't have retweeted without fact checking it. Doesn't make him a racist in my eyes. Blacks who have worked for him years before he had political ambitions have said the man is not a racist. I don't think even Amarosa (sp?) called him a racist.
The main point of that tweet was that black on black crime gets ignored. If you point this out as a white person, you're a racist. If you point out that the vast majority of blacks killed by cops had rap sheets a mile long and were resisting arrest, you're a racist.
I didn't say he was racist in my posts above (although I think a case could be made for that). But I said he doesn't deserve a pass on "a mild gaff" that he accepted no responsibility and offered no apology for. What I was also saying was that when you unapologetically retweet neo-nazis, you can't be surprised when people call you one (again, not saying he is one, just that he can't be surprised by people saying that). To me it really is that simple.
Omarosa (not sure if I got it right either but it does start with an O, lol) hasn't called him racist but does seem put off by some stuff she witnessed during her time at the White House and said she has a story to tell. Not sure exactly what that means but I imagine a book will be released at some point but considering she made her name as a reality show villain, I'm not sure how much credibility she'll have in any criticism she may offer of Trump. But there are plenty of people that have claimed to hear Trump toss the N-word around freely. No idea if this is true but when it was widely speculated that there were tapes from the Apprentice of this, Trump offered no denial.
But I said he doesn't deserve a pass on "a mild gaff" that he accepted no responsibility and offered no apology for.
I agree that Trump is smarter than he is often given credit for but I believe the reason he doesn't apologize for his many many moronic statements is that he's just a narcissistic asshole. Others may feel differently. Regardless of his reasoning he doesn't get a pass, at least from me, for that "mild gaff" of retweeting a gross piece of racist propaganda from a white supremacist twitter page without accepting any responsibility for his actions.

So much spin and outright bullshit in there. Pick one point and I'll respond to it.
And for what it's worth, I used to own several multi family units in the 80s and 90s with my partners. Most blacks who own rental property will say that they'd rather not rent to our own kind.
I've been forced to evict about a dozen tenants over the years, some white, some black, some Hispanic. But the whites on average gave us less trouble. Any black rental property owner who says otherwise is lying.
And here's a question: since you like to call Trump a racist, what did you call Obama when he told the white police officers they "acted stupidly" when his black friend gave the police a tough time when they were doing their jobs responding to a call?

The problem with calling someone a racist who isn't is that it dilutes the word. Most people these days shrug or even laugh when someone is called a racist. Means nothing these days.
Sexual harassment? Could be a wink or a smile. Racist? A person who wins an argument with a liberal.
I've been the victim of real racism yet I don't let it define me, run my life for me, or force me to make every white person culpable for it.
[deleted]
And and the average blacks gets a lot more trouble than the average white too. You statement really doesn't mean anything other than blacks really have a problem in the US, and all they do to help them is to criminalize them and vilify them - it's called kicking away the ladder once whites get up and rich they block everyone else. Being white I know this pretty well.
shareBeing white I know this pretty well.
Well not that I've ever personally called him that but calling him a racist nazi would be based on an opinion of his behaviour , something he is in control of. Where as the tweet about Valerie Jarrett compared her to an animal due to her race.
Can you not see the difference?
They aren't even showing the scheduled rerun.
They are showing The Middle.
I am wondering if she more likely got the hook because she went after master puppeteer soros.
shareYeah, Soros was a big nazi ... he is 10 years old when Hitler came to power. Roseanne and all you Soros nuts are really bonkers. The Open Society idea is a good one ... a lot better than the Bush's ownership society where the rich own everything, including all the people.
shareThen why did he admit she was right.
shareWhy is calling Trump a racist nazi OK but this crosses the line?
Because ABC cannot cancel Trump ... I wish they could.
