Mrs. Peel .... you're needed

Awwwww, it is so sad that Diana Rigg passed away today.

When I was a kid the Avengers was one of the few TV shows that was in color, and we all used to go over the house of the one family on our block that had a big color TV and watch it together. It was fun.

I was so surprised and delighted to see her in Game Of Thrones as Glenna Tyrell, and from IMDB it appears she was working a lot these last years.

In her youth she was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women in the world and talented. Rest in peace Diana Rigg, thank you for your performances.

Peace be with her! I love her especially in "The Hospital" from '71 opposite George C. Scott. There's a version of "Midsummer Night's Dream" made in '68 that has Rigg along with a lot of other great Shakespearean actors who became stars in their own right: Helen Mirren, David Warner, Ian Holm, Judi Dench. It's well worth checking out just for the acting despite its dated cinematic techniques.
