he's kinda crap at accents. His American is dreadful (From Paris With Love) and even his English accent is spotty (The Tudors, which I own and love).
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings.

shareI don't mind it, he was a Brit in Velvet, yet he nailed it. I like his voice, which is the reason I don't have a problem with his accents. He was so good in Tudors that is was easy to for me to overlook the accent. But english is not my first language, so that has to be another reason.
I always mention Velvet cos it is one the most underrated movies ever. McGregor and JRM were amazing, Bale was nothing compared to the other two. But, I love love love music, the whole glam rock era, it was so cool to see Pulp and Thom Yorke involved, just brilliant.
JRM had to fly to Paris the next day after Tudors filming wrapped to start From Paris with Love. I thought he did a great nerdy sounding American accent.
