His inability to act completely killed his show.

Sorry that my opinion is going to result in brickbats and hate mail, folks, but I can't for the life of me figure out why some of you are fawning over this stiff. I really wanted to like the series (I'm a big fan of the genre) but I only got through 3 episodes before his painful inadequacies drove me away. I even went back and tried again; barely got through the pilot. Hope he finds a different way to make a living.

Sorry but Jonathan has been in the acting business for over 20 years and has had decent success at it. All I can say is that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think he is a very good actor.

Kozy, a reasonable discussion with that person is probably impossible.

No brickbats needed. Mr Rhys Meyers' acting awards and nominations speak for themselves. As for Dracula (which I believe this post is about) I agree that not everyone "got" it. I DID and consider it one of the best shows ever produced by network TV.

That's nice of yours that you want to save this Thread with the bad OP's headline:
His inability to act completely killed his show.
Looks good on this Board!
And you act in such a positive way!

Your Post-History with 2 posts within 7 years doesn't look better than OP joes.

How can anyone speak of inability in regard to Jonathan Rhys Meyers?
A Golden Globe Winner and whole blood Actor- full of Intensity and Vulnerability !

Art is always a question of personal taste-especially in movies. If you critisize Dracula, you have to critisize sript-writing at first. The cast has been brilliant.

Nice statement!
Why do you use this account to say that?
(very first post in history!)

Hopefully this thread will be deleted soon!!!
