I've noticed that she has not won or been nominated for BAFTA, let alone awarded an honorary award.
The French Academy had nominated and given her an award.
It's been know that Film Academy's can black list an actor. The Academy awards with Marilyn Manroe. The Italian and British Academy were nice enough to award and nominate her, but never the Oscars.

Another, perhaps even more shocking case is Vanessa Redgrave. She had a couple of nominations from BAFTA but no wins, and nothing for most of her more celebrated roles - and yet she is considered one of the great British actors of her generation.
I guess they were so busy showering a million nominations on Dame Judi and Dame Maggie that BAFTA somehow overlooked Charlotte and Vanessa.
