A class act

Years ago, when I was about twenty five years old, Mr. Price was touring the United States with his presentation of "Villains Still Pursue Me".
He came to my hometown and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet him.
I, of course, was star struck, but he couldn't have been any nicer. I asked if I could have a picture with him, and he invited me to join him on the dais.
Within a minute, he made me feel like we had been old friends for years.

Wow, what a special memory.

I love this!

It also reminds me of a time I was invited to see the great John Waters when he toured New Zealand on his speaking tour. He was so sharp and witty and had the auditorium spellbound with his hilarious anecdotes about his movies and the people he’d collaborated with throughout his career. He also came into the foyer after the show for Q and A time, pictures and signings. Sadly I didn’t have the pleasure of talking to him like you did with Mr. Price, but I could see he made the people who did feel the same way you describe above.

Thanks for sharing your story, it was lovely to read.
