Not given enough credit

I just watched "The Poker House" and was very impressed. I have seen Lori Petty in many roles and have always loved her acting and her quirky demeanor but I had no idea she had such a story to tell. This film won't appeal to many people who prefer less realistic portraits of life but that very realness is what struck me and stuck with me the most. It is a story of survival and Lori Petty is indeed a survivor.

It seems too many people on this board are more concerned with her sexuality or how she looks rather than seeing what is inside. I prefer to be able to gently lift the veneer of people and see what they are truly like inside. Thank you Lori for giving us all this insight into your soul and I wish you more success in your pursuit of your arts.
