So I just came on here to rant about how, had Point Break been directed by a lesser director, been shot by a lesser cinematographer, been scored by a lesser musician, and been a weaker movie overall, it would not have been able to survive this annoying chick's attempt to ruin it.

Then I see a couple of recent snapshots of this hideous freak and, my God! I thought she was freaknasty when she was 25!

What is it with her and her short hair? Is she against appearing feminine even remotely????

I'm guessing you don't find Petty very attractive. Petty doesn't exude much feminity but her acting skills are good. She nailed the role of Tyler Endicott in 'Point Break'. Her scenes with Keanu were first rate. I couldn't imagine another female actor doing as well. And while I agree with you regarding her short hair, it is her hair and she can wear it as long or short as she chooses. I'm not into women who wear their hair that short so she wouldn't be my first choice for a night out.

That's my whole point; even aside from her manly looks, she didn't "nail" the role of Tyler at all.

I find her acting in the film to be the one thing about that movie that I can't stand, and it almost ruined it for me. If everything else in the movie hadn't been so damn good, it would have.

I agree - I think she is a mediocre actress and whatever character she is playing, she always plays it in a way that irritates me.

Lori Petty has only one style of acting--she plays every single character exactly the same way: as an annoying, whiny and unlikable. There's no talent there whatsoever.

Religion: because the ignorant need clubs, too.
