Is he the same guy?...and if not...
Back in the early 70's ~ala~ Rockford files, Police Woman, Stars & Hutch, McCloud era, on one of these shows the main character had a sidekick actor who looked a lot like this guy, Mandy Patinkin. This character always seemed to be a nervous wreck.
The two look very similar, but Mandy's bio mentions nothing from the cop shows of that decade.
So, anyone have any idea whom I might be speaking of?
