Anna would be perfect as Janis Joplin if a movie was made about the late rocker. From what I understand, a Janet Joplin biopic has been in development hell for years.

You do realize people can lose or gain weight for a role, right? And as far being "too pretty" , Charlize Theron is gorgeous, yet she played serial killer Aileen Wournos. They just used makeup and various other tricks of the trade.
Janis may not be considered classically pretty, but she had a definite charisma and engaging sex appeal.

Janis was Bigger than life. I just meantshe has to to small a frame and cute. There's a lot more actresses to choose from.
