Okay, you're entitled to your opinion but you shouldn't let one thing you dislike about a film ruin it for you. In the case of LOTR, I hated the fact that they portrayed Sauron as a giant eyeball, but I still immensely enjoyed the films.
Like you said above, you don't think Miranda Otto is good-looking or talented. I don't agree with you, but I'm not gonna tell you you're wrong. Likewise, you can't tell people off for being fans of Miranda. In all honesty, don't you have anything better to do with your time than fill one actress' message board with hate messages? For instance, I despise Taylor Kitsch but I don't fill his board with hate messages.
Furthermore, being a hater isn't about standing out, it's about a lot of people being united in their hatred of something/someone. By the way, if you're truly overrated, there's no such thing as having too many haters.
Finally, I completely disagree with you about Cumberbatch. In my opinion he's one of the most talented actors working today and deserves every bit of success he gets. Also, The Fifth Estate was the furthest thing from his star vehicle. Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness and The Hobbit hold that title, all three of which have been hugely successful.
