He's too good of an actor to remain working for Marvel.

This. As much as I would have loved to see him stay as the Hulk, I think it's good that he went a different direction.

Agree 100%. Looking at their ensemble of the past 15 years I don't think they ask for too much from their actors/actresses because the costume compensates for the lack of ability.
