shareNot true at all! I know that when I LIKE someone, I want to know what their ethnicity is because I'm just that much of a fan. Maybe that's something you do, but don't assume everyone is like that.
shareIt can also be showing interest in a fellow human being, wanting to know their heritage, their culture. Nothing racist about that. It depends on the intention of the question.
