Interesting sentiment. I think he would do great, though it is unlikely that he would be cast. Someone suggested Crispin Glover doing it, and I wouldn't mind that, either. Though rumor is they may not even put the joker in any of the newer ones to preserve Heath Ledger's take.

Why cast David Morse as The Joker? Just cast him as himself. He's one of the biggest A-holes ever on screen. And i love him.
