shareMaybe she's a Republican who supports gay rights! It happens sometimes!
Or maybe she's a Democrat. :]

yea, my parents are republicans and they support gay marriages. why did you think she was republican?
shareShe's a republican...
and supports AIDS awareness, theres nothing against being a republican and supporting issues like that, death is death man, diseases suck and being a republican myself I get a little p'd off that the media's perception of us is that we don't support social issues like AIDS...bunch of junk...starvation, AIDS, abortion, etc. are all things that sicken most of us Republicans.
While the majority of Republicans do not support gay marriages, disease is a whole other story...
Rita is also a great supporter of the U.S. Military...when I was in the Army she visited our base and she was so gracious & nice...and very, very patriotic.
Love that woman!
How wonderful!
shareRepublicans tend to think for themselves. So does Ms. Moreno. She always has.
Democrats tend to wait for their DNC talking points before rendering an opinion.
I'm an Independent ... therefore, clueless.
Cheers,

Was this the same glaad event that Lee Tergeson and Chris Meloni were at? I'm thinking it was Oz related in some way. But I didn't see it, so I have no clue.

As above, the term "Republican" can mean a lot of different types of people, don't let slogans or the leadership of some, lead you to the impression they are all the same.
