Love him in Elementary.

Does anyone else find him to be the sexiest guy with his shirt off? I feel like he's hotter than guys like Channing Tatum because he's in good shape but not to a ridiculous degree and he keeps his body hair.

Anyway he is so awesome.

I love his version of Sherlock and Benedict Cumberbatch's versions equally although the writing on "Sherlock" is better. Elementary is a bit dumbed down.

Love Lucy Liu on that show too though.

I can't wait to see their version of Moriarty.

So are the tats his or TV magic. The only thing I know JLM from its Eli Stone. He didn't have so much ink then.

reply

They're his own.

On Eli Stone he had them covered with make up whenever he needed to bare his arms or torso.

Check out his appearance on Ellen DeGenere's show a few years back, where he revealed some of them for charity.

I agree. He's great on Elementary. I've liked him since seeing Hackers many years ago...

I love when his Sherlock gets shirtless because I enjoy looking at his tattoos! I'm not a fan of all tatts, but I like his choices. In the ep that was aired after the Superbowl (The Deductionist?) we get to see the wonderful scale detail of the dragon tattoo on his arm/shoulder. It just looked really nice, in my opinion, and appropriate to the body part.

I agree! His voice, his mannerisms, and his body and tattoos are all very sexy. I look forward to scenes with him shirtless where you can see his tattoos. Now I have a big crush on him. Oh and his eyes! They're gorgeous. The only thing that would make him sexier would be him in his underwear and shirtless, haha.

Jonny is a very versatile actor and really is the ship that makes the show float. I know its supposed to be a partnership with Watson and all but thus far Lucy Liu's character has been totally outdone by Miller's Sherlock. I don't fault her, perhaps the writers are trying to establish the detective's abilities but Watson is sorely underused and Jonny is simply knocking it out of the park every week.

Yeah, BBC's Sherlock's still the superior Sherlock Holmes story... but I freaking LOVE Miller in Elementary! I knew he was a good actor but I'm amazed how COMPELLING he is. I actually can't take my eyes off him when he's twitching his way around his apartment. AND like the OP, I'm really also loving Lucy Liu (which really surprised me - who knew?).

I know a bunch of people will be tut-tutting at me for not ONLY loving the cinematic and intellectual BBC Sherlock but god-dammit - there's room for both shows. And I've been really impressed with Miller and Liu in Elementary. It's much better than I expected.

I'd even go so far as to say that anyone who hates Elementary mustn't have given it a fair go, or must be confusing loyalty with TV-snobbism.
