I guess asking "top three" doesn't imply anything beyond top three, but did you actually watch Downton Abbey?
She was so badly outclassed in that ensemble and I actually yelled out Oh My God! several times because of how bad and amateurish her acting was. Figures, one American in that show and we get McGovern to represent us.
I never watched Downton but she was the weak link in the otherwise excellent ensembles of the two movies in his top three, imo... I have yet to be impressed by an Elizabeth McGovern performance.
