appearance in 'Titanic'

Today I saw the 3-D version of Cameron's "Titanic". Although I have seen the films a number of time, I don't recall seeing Lithgow in the film until today. Although he only had a few words (in the "Gentleman's Lounge" with Cal and friends) he was not listed in the film, nor does "Titanic" appear in Lithgow's IMDB listing. What gives?

I can't recall seeing Lithgow in Titanic, nor does a google search indicate any sort of cameo appearance. You sure you're not thinking of Michael Ensign who played Benjamin Guggenheim? When I saw Titanic back when it first came out, I thought there were some similarities between them.

Lol that is not Lithgow. I thought so when I was a kid.
