He's beyond underrated. There is NOTHING this guy cannot do. He's a true jack of all trades. And I especially like his comedic performance as the superb High Commander Dick Solomon. Out of this world humor. This guy RULES.

He's very talented AND very underrated. He can perform anything! Comedy, drama, it doesn't matter, because John delivers! I also would like to see him grab an oscar someday.

man that would be so awesome if he grab an Oscar. he needs to go back to movies. and what is wrong with all of these directors? they just can't see the talent i think they are blind.

His career is not over. He'll get an oscar.

to be considered a good actor you dont have to win an oscar. you dont even have to be nominated (though it helps). (and he has...twice) besides, movies arnt the only things out there. he is in alot of plays, has a tony, and was nomiated for aother two. he performs with his son, which is proably a dream of most showstar dads' dream. he has emmy after emmy after emmy and not just for third rock from the sun.

and although it would be very nice if he achieved a oscar (maye even just an honorary one) i think that he can uphold the title of being succsessful

actually John has 2 Tony's and 2 Drama desk Awards. but i agree with you. you don't have to win an Oscar just to be profiled as a good actor. John is one of the best actors out there. and very, very intellegent. But he will (if he ever does anymore movies) win an Oscar one of these days.

But don't worry John we all love you. i especially do =) !!!
