Colbert's still pretty good though, certainly better than Fallon and Kimmel.

shareI'll go with David. Occasionally I'll see old segments, interviews with people I like, and there just is a spirit of fun in the air. Which is interesting as in retirement he comes off as a curmudgeon. I like Colbert plenty, but Letterman had some quality I have a hard time putting my finger on. Remember Bud Melman? One of those things that shouldn't have been funny but was hilarious.
