am surprised he's done so few movies

so i guess its been commented on how people were surprised how he went awol for around 5 years from the end of joey to his return in episodes, but i'm surprised that he's actually decided to do so few movies and not sure if that was his choice, i guess i could understand that during the run of friends, he had a pretty busy schedule and can imagine wanting to take time off during the off-season, but even in the last ten years, since the end of friends, he's chosen to do only tv work - compare his career (practically no movie work since frinds) to jen's (she's practically been in every movie she can get her hands on) - i guess he's just more content living life (doesn't really need the money or fame, since anyone ever associated with friends can live quite comfortably on the residuals for the rest of their lives), but not sure if doing (or not doing) movies is something he's ever commented on
