and have Meryl take all the glory. I don't think Jessica would love that but that could happen. Jessica tends to be overshadowed by her co-stars. Look at Crimes of the Heart.

Even though they're both powerhouses and command the audience's attention, I think it could work.

This is such an odd statement. It was an ensemble piece, and she was clearly the standout, besides the over obvious Tess Harper (who got a nomination, to her credit), but Lange wasn't outshined by Keaton. It's not really fair to judge this film, as the same could happen with "Steel Magnolias."

I actually think that Spacek had the best role but Lange was the favorite to watch.

They should do "Arsenic and old Lace" together.
In a few years, they're not quite old enough yet.
