His Oscar win is one of my favourites ever in his category - just a wonderful performance.

I really like him too… and talk about a late-career renaissance.

Shame on me but i must admit something....

I always thought he was gay, though i dont know where i got that from. He was married to Barbara Bain almost 40 years and had 2 children.

He played gay in North By Northwest. I know what you mean. I think it was his sophisticated manner, like Vincient Price.
