Seriously Peter Jackson's work wasn't good on first view, and is not aging well. Infantile lack of sophistication is his trademark. I bet there are 100 people in New Zealand who would been more artistically relevant and worthy of elevation. But like fake butter on movie popcorn, we got Peter Jackson, butcher of classic tales.

shareYou are incredibly close minded. Peter jackson is a true genius, starting from the age 11 onwards he made movies some of you might not even be able to do today. His early movies show what a talent he is, making hollywood like special make up effects with very little money and a very small team. He found ways to produce unthinkable scenes. When he was around twelve he made a King Kong sequence almost identical to one of the scenes in the original films. And that was all before computer animation kicked in.
Now you find me a more talented person in new zealand with that much creativity and dedication. You little bastard probably still live with your parents and jerk off all day. Nobody could have pulled off what he did, the lord of the rings worked because of him, be thankful and think before you write.
It doesn't matter what movie or actor or director's IMDB board you go to, there is always one whinny internet troll that's trying to spoil everybody's fun.
They should be buried under a big pile of mature.
