With a new Kong film coming out ............

I think it's time we had an upgraded version of the 2005 film. In many ways Jacksons remake was very good but i thought some scenes like the dinosaur stampede and V Rex fight were over the top and a bit cartoonish'

In fact I've read that they run out of time and some scenes weren't finished properly especially with the stampede. it goes on for too long and the cgi looks plain bad in some scenes.

surely now is the time with all the upcoming hype about Skull Island for an ultimate version of this film with better editing and upgraded cgi/special effects?
