just watched the 1971 christmas special (aired jan 1972)
this was the second last one. bob calls the troops still in vietnam the leftovers. he didn't spend much time there - al went to hawaii, wake island, cuba, spain and thailand. the guests were jill st john, vida blue and alan shepard. it seems the show was running out of steam. one more to go.
