Help finding R.Harris film

Hi,

I'm looking for a movie that supposedly has Richard Harris in it. About a man in prison, who goes to prison to escape solely to escape to commit the perfect crime, then returning to prison. Only an inspector suspects him as the murderer.

Sound familiar? The movie might be between 1960-1980, can't tie it down.
