Richard Harris in the role of Robin Hood, what do you say? Could this tall, thin, feisty Irishman have gotten away with it?

For sure - of course he could have! I for one would have been extremely keen to see him in those lovely green tights!

He did play King Richard to Sean Connery's Robin.
