Richard Harris, Hands down. Question is What is his best movie?

reply

Harris 100%. Otool beats gambon who is not actually a hugly great actor, more a personality

Yea, that is a question, or at least his best performance. Iv always been a camelot man, but the field and this sporting life are superb *beep* i could add another 6 on about the same level

Well...I think Michael Gambon doesn't act in the same league as Richard Harris and Peter O'Toole. He is in no way as extraordinay as Harris was or O'Toole is. So the three are not really comparable.

It's only about Harris and O'Toole. Both are/were outstanding in their performances. It's only about which actor the observer prefers, which man she or he is more attracted to.

I'm totally besotted with Richard Harris. I love everything this man made...acting, singing, living. He was simply indescrible...full of passion, crazy, funny, sometimes furious, sexy like hell...he lived always on the fast lane.

Lovely you said about Harris. I think the same! :o)

:-) an utterly indescribable being, far from just an actor

Ah yes, but we know oscar nominations unfortunatly dont mirror the greatest acting (not to impune o'tooles work of course)

I would give O'Toole a slight edge over Harris....Gambon is way down the list
Among the many Irish actors I would put ahead of Gambon would be
Daniel Day Lewis, LIam Neeson and if we can do ladies a moment Maureen O'Hara
