Danm, he had a lot to say about other actors!

Just look at the trivia section he talks mad *beep* on fellow actors.

"What's God" "When you want something bad and you wish for it" "Ya" "Gods the guy that ignores ya"

In the contrast to a lot of other actors who're afraid of making themselves unliked, Richard Harris was a man who spoke his mind. But that didn't keep him from being good friends with some other actors - like Peter O'Toole who was a lifetime friend of him and like Russel Crowe who Harris liked very much.

"Harris probably wasn't always in everything right, but he was in any case always honest."

At least he was honest and genuine instead of fake and artificial like most of these actors are.

Gotta say, I really agree with this being a positive. Now I don't think talking *beep* is the best thing to do. But better that, and being honest. Then a fake ass actor who bites their tongue for fear of bad publicity.

I think he was a brilliant actor, but there *is* a line between honesty and just being rude!

He has some amazing quotes regarding Tom Cruise. Especially the one about him holding a bottle of vodka to a premiere compared to Tom's Evian water.

What he said about Michael Caine was very funny. I forgot what he said but it was so snide. He was responding to Caine's criticisms over his hellraising evenings with Peter O'Toole and Oliver Reed.

Does anyone have the exact quote?

reply

Boab The Fly seems to remember that the great RH was quoted as saying that Caine either was or thought he was "the English Gene Hackman."
That's as much as The Fly remembers though Mark.
