I worked as an extra on Marcia Gay Harden's last day on the new film " The Mist ", and she could not have been nicer and more gracious. She spent probably an hour taking pictures and signing autographs for all of the extra's who had been filming alongside her for 3 weeks inside the supermarket set for " The Mist ". She was covered in fake blood and tired from a full day of shooting,but she still stayed and took the time to meet everyone.I was also told when she arrived on set a month earlier she made sure that all of the extra's had plenty of seating and tables and such so they would be comfortable on the long shoot. She truly made my day, allowing me to take a picture with her and sharing a story about when she was in " Angels in America ". Judging from her work on that day, this is going to be one of her best roles ever.

man, thanks for this post....you just prove how beautiful she really is, inside and out........i just wish people like her got more rewards, more media attention than the media whores out there....but i guess being a decent, kind wonderful person doesn't sell magazines, and get ratings points for advertising revenue....again, thanks for this post.

I really think she is a star of the hearts. THanks for sharing such a lovely info/experience with her. She always got the audiences attention, I wish it was the media too. She trully is a star, I enjoy her movies. Fab actresss

You lucky dog!! I wish I was in that supermarket...that must have been an experience to cherish. Stephen King's storyline was again magnificent as usual. Marcia Gay MADE this movie and now I see from the "inside" she's a TRUE STAR. I'm now just totally in love with her as a human being.

Wow, she really is one of the sweetest celebrites out there. I met her once at this place called Saunderskill farms in New York. I was completely starstruck. She was so nice. She took the time out to meet ys, it was so amazing. Sad thing was, me and my parents were so starstruck, we didn't even think about getting a picture, and we all have camera phones lol. That was one of the coolest moments ever.
