Shes done some pretty good films like boogie nights, from hell, Bobby etc. but then she has done strange films that are so wierd that she been in. dont get me wrong, I think shes a good actress. But i think she should be more selective with her film roles so she could be more respected. She also seems underrated. Is she a B lister or C lister?

shareBy now (summer 2012), "C-lister." Especially after her much-hyped TV show bombed, alas.
Maybe she'll "bounce back" in indie films or on TV...but hey, even Oscar winners Mira Sorvino and Marisa Tomei aren't getting great roles. That's Hollywood for ya...

i had to look it up, never even knew about that
she might be in that age where hollywood doesn't have that much to offer 40 yr olds and it doesn't help that she doesn't look like a 'mom' type

shareit was much hyped-incessant promos for months; billboards, bus ads, press junket extreme - it was clear her manager sold her on being the star of a can't miss, long run series and it was a deliberate step in her career. Then...the show tanked: ratings and reviews. And she did not connect with audiences, particularly women. She comes across as a loner and when she plays a friend to girls, she seems phony and unconvincing. After that her feature career derailed. Now she is older, B/C list, and doesn't get important roles. Still highly beautiful, though.
